Electric Resistance Welding (ERW)
Electric Resistance WeldingResistance welding (ERW) is a kind of welding in which two surfaces are welded by applying heat and pressure simultaneously. In this method, a continuous electric current is established in that area by pressing the two welding surfaces together. The high amount of electric current in the welding line due to electrical resistance causes the metal to melt in the joint and the welding line is well intertwined.
